Biography


Trevor German

Trevor and his wife Mary, have been members of the Branch since the spring of 2007.

Born in Scotland in 1957, the third son of Frank and Mary German, Trevor was educated in Computer Engineering at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland. He worked for a computer company in Scotland for a year before being transferred to Winnipeg, Manitoba, and later moved to the Waterloo Region to work for NCR.

Trevor is an associate member since he hails from a Veteran family with his Grandfather, Father, Mother and both Brothers all serving in the British Military.

His Grandfather was wounded in action at Le-Somme in the Great War. His Father served in the Second World War in the Africa Campaign, Sicily, Italy and finally Greece. His brothers both did tours in West Germany during the Cold War, and one served a couple of tours in Northern Ireland.

Trevor is now a free-lance software author developing custom software solutions for various corporations in the surrounding area.
