The Legion’s Operation Canada Day – A Taste of Home

The Royal Canadian Legion has packaged up more than 1,800 Canada Day gifts that will be delivered to deployed Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police personnel in the days leading up to Canada Day on July 1st.

Every year, the Legion sends gift packages to military and RCMP serving on deployed operations for the Canada Day and Christmas holidays. Our members are proud of the men and women who serve our country, and we understand the challenges of being away from family and friends over the holidays. By sending a little piece of home to those deployed abroad, we are letting them know that we are grateful for their service and are thinking of them.

Operation Canada Day This year’s package, entitled “A Taste of Home” includes:

Canadian Maple Cookies
Legion Water Bottle
Temporary Maple Leaf Tattoos
Maple Leaf Ball Cap
A Card from the Legion

On behalf of our 300,000 members of the Legion, we wish all deployed troops a happy and safe Canada Day and we look forward to welcoming them back home.

Happy Canada Day!
