EXTREMELY IMPORTANT - BREAK AND ENTER - LEGION BRANCH POTENTIAL TARGET
This email is being bcc’d to PEC. ZONE Commanders this is extremely important to get this to your branches ASAP!! 4 Men walked into a Legion in Ontario yesterday looking for an inexpensive lunch. They proceeded to play snooker and spend a large part of the afternoon at the branch. What the branch didn’t realize is that during that time they had tampered with the security system in the branch (actually snipped wires) and broke into the branch later that night causing damage. They were after the ATM machine that was located inside the branch. They did serious damage to the branch and serious damage to the ATM machine. Please be cautious if you have an ATM machine in your branch, check your security systems thoroughly and please continue to welcome patrons but just keep your eyes open if your branch is not familiar with guests. This is being sent as a precaution. It occurred in District F – Zone F1 - last night after 12:30 p.m. – but could happen in any District.
